Ivory Ward began several years ago as spoils of a War Treaty, the war was with the Brotherhood of Darkness and was known then and now as the Trade War. It was known then as the "Block of Darkness" or the Brotherhood Block, and it was one solid city block of businesses and a few warehouses down by the Docks. But by the time Brotherhood of Darkness finally closed its doors, the single city block had grown to encompass an entire city Ward, starting with the first block and moving up to the Blooming Rose Inne, and east towards Park Ward.

When it became an official Ward of the City of RoseHaven it took up the name Ivory Ward and trade increased once more, as those that had hated the Brotherhood had less trouble with their consciences dealing in business and trade with the new Ivory Ward.

Many of the former servants of the Brotherhood are still to be found serving their master Kerrinne there, or watching over the safety of one of the more public faces in the Ward, Mina Westenra.
